Buyer Comments:I went through Rollie Zachman. He was very easy to work with just as the last review said. He didn't play any games. I held a conversation with him during the sale, and he doesn't even need to work because he had great success with his own business prior to working at Crown. He only works there because he's the type of a person who likes to work. Anyway, when I thought I had a better deal with Brandon Hyundai, he didn't hassle me about it. After I realized that Brandon Hyundai is full of crooks who don't fulfill their original agreed-on price, I called back Rollie and he got the sale for me with no hassle. On another note, DO NOT go to Brandon Hyundai. I had negotiated it down to $13600 after rebate, and I knew I had done a good job when Crown and another dealership told me they couldn't match the price. However, they started giving me a lot of excuses once I got there even though I called them to tell them that I was coming over there with a check in hand to give them my business. Instead, I wasted three hours because they decided to go against their original offer. Finally, they said they'd honor the original offer but we HAD to finance. Now why should I do that and incur extra charges when I can just pay it off, which I told them I would do beforehand. After all this, the GM came and talked to my dad and me and talked to us as if we were below him. The guy does not know much about customer service.
Pros:Rollie and George were excellent. I would say that this was the easiest haggling I've ever been part of, and I've haggled all over the world. He quoted me a price, I counter-offered, he gave me a second quote (which was very good and I ended up with it), I went to Brandon Hyundai, went back to Crown and bought the car. An extra info for Tampa buyers. Laz Machado at Courtesy Hyundai of Tampa was good. He does pressure you, and he was high priced, so you have to stand your ground. However, he was very fair, and when he couldn't match the other two offers, he actually recommended that I go with the other dealership at the loss of his business. So if you can't make it out to Crown, I would recommend Laz at Courtesy Hyundai of Tampa.
