I was thinking about buying a sonata but then I said why not go for a luxury car for another $7000. Ronald Valarezo at HUB (Hyundai on 290) deserves all the credit. I am a tough negotiator and he made sure I got what I needed at the end. Heck, the guy even offered cigarettes when I was out of them to take my time and make up my mind. Finally, I got the Titanium grey 3.8 and still shocking the people around us. Oh and the good thing, Ronald is also driving a 2011 Genesis so I call him anytime if I need any assistance after the purchase. I am extremely satisfied!

Pros: Honest and friendly customer relations.

Cons: On top of everything I also purchased the $1800ish warranty coverage which supposedly cover everything except couple things on the vehicle. Still not sure if this is a pro or a con since the vehicle already has 10 years warranty.

Worked with Mariester mostly via email at first, she was very responsive, friendly, and overall a great experience. I drove 1 hour to the dealership to purchase the car which they had transferred from Northern VA and the experience purchasing the vehicle was hassle and surprise free, the total time at the dealer was about 1.5 hours to complete the paperwork and learn the car. Paid $33k out the door for 2011 3.6L Genesis with wheel locks, ipod cable, rebadging with the winged logo, and cargo mat.

Pros: Rapid response, friendly. The dealership seems smaller and I felt like I had very personal attention paid to what I was looking for.

Cons: None really. The car I wanted was hard to find and no dealer could find one in the color/package combo I wanted for a month. Other dealers actually located it first but since I liked the overall response and feeling from this dealer I still bought through them.

Pros: No last minute changes or surprises. Please delete the Rockville MD price shown on the list. I inadvertently entered that and can't delete it.

Cons: be careful of the finance department and read before signing. caught an error of over a 1000 bucks in the agreed price and what the finance guy had in his fancy touchscreen signing thing.

Great dealership to work with. They have a lot of perks for buyers (free oil changes, free car washes...maintenance cost for first 2 yrs are about 300).

Pros: Great buying experience (our salesman went above and beyond to help us even after the deal closed).

Cons: They're moving a bit farther from me so it's harder to take advantage of the amazing free car washes + free oil change offer. I'm nitpicking bc it's still going to be less than 15 miles after they moved.

Great experience. When buying DO YOUR RESEARCH Don't let the dealership bully you into paying more for this fee or that. Even the Document fee is negotiable, if they don't want to make the sale without that fee, get up and walk out right then, let them call you back to the table don't buy all those Extra's after your deal is made, those extended bumper to bumper warranties, the stuff that is "Not" covered in your normal warranty,DON'T buy it. Have another dealership lined up with the same vehicle/same options and a quote, whether or not you are going to buy from them, if you are serious about buying such a large ticket price item, be prepared to shop 100's of miles away if it is going to be in your financial advantage. Take that quote into your preferred dealership, don't show it to them, they have to EARN your business, we know them for 30 minutes and they think that they get to earn 1000's in commissions/profit for that small amount of investment of time. Once they have your money it is next to impossible to get it back. I even got to the point, I was done haggling and I said "No,this is the price I will pay" pointing to my awesome quote, tapping my finger firmly on the paper. I said "Take it or leave it" gathered up all my things ready to go to the other dealership, he came back from that "Room" and said we have a deal. So from the first quote to the final price, I was able to knock off almost 10K with rebates. Not bad for a few hours time researching my price.

Pros: Location. Friendly staff.

Cons: Some inexperienced salesman, cockiness amongst them/him. The "I am holier than thou" persona. Wouldn't you want to keep the taxes in this county attitude...of course I do...but not at the expense of my bottom line.
