Invoice price is a best guess because the factory didn't add the USB port to all the 1LT models with the Vehicle Interface Package, so a $75 credit is on the sticker. Got Supplier Pricing being a student (almost exactly $1000 discount off MSRP). Dealer honored $1000 Conquest Cash even though trade-in was older than 1999. Used "Cash for Clunkers" program (price paid does not include that). Drove a LS model several weeks ago, liked the vehicle. Wanted more features, so saw this on their lot. Wasn't crazy about colors, so searched 300 mile radius and all 1LTs with features we wanted were sold or dealers wouldn't trade. So took this color combination (blue exterior, all black interior) and the more I see it the more I like it. Had a young salesperson who was pretty spacy at times (DJ) and didn't know a lot, but he was nice at least.
Pros: Got a good price with no haggle. Offered price was actually about $700 less than we anticipated getting after negotiating, so of course we took it. No pressure buying experience, everyone was nice.
Cons: Spent WAY too long at dealership. Took two hours after test drive just sitting there, not really knowing what was going on (partly due to salesperson I think not communicating well). All of a sudden he shows up with a sheet the manager printed out with offer price. The offer was outstanding, but it shouldn't have taken two hours (dealership was only moderately busy). Spent another hour filling out paperwork for financing, then saw finance officer for 30 min. or so. Experience was good with finance - add-ons (like extended warranty) were offered, but not pushed. Looked for better financing when we weren't satisfied with the rate from the bank they normally use and found one with a satisfactory rate. Scheduled to pick up vehicle next day, and in meantime was told it would be detailed. It wasn't detailed. Not a big deal, but annoying. Also, "doc fee" is high at this dealership ($389), and we didn't find out they do VIN etching until we were in finance office (overpriced at $211). So they make up some of the low price in these fees, but I still think we got a good deal, especially considering the newness and demand for this vehicle. I think the time at the dealership (4 hours - 3 after test drive) would have been cut by at least an hour with a more experienced sales person, but that is how it goes and he's still learning.

I was pretty satisfied because they gave me low price on the Equinox right away but they tried to low ball me on the trade in and I had to get them to "come up" $2k. The sales man and finance manager used the tricks of the trade but they managed to do it by not coming across as pushy or slimy.
Pros: Relaxed atmosphere (salesman had shorts and a hat on), were not too pushy or "slimy". VERY family friendly and "green" dealership. Up front low price on new vehicle without having to negotiate.
Cons: Low balled the trade in and they took too long negotiating the trade in so I had to leave and pick up my children from school and come back and finish paperwork.
