I would never return to Berger's Dodge World! They used the old 'bait & switch' on financing.

Pros: Got a really good price for the truck.

Cons: Agreed to terms & signed contract. I asked if the terms were a done deal with the lender and was told yes. The next day I was contacted as they needed to rewrite the deal and I needed an additional $2700 down.

The Salesman did a good job of working with me to select a truck. As a matter of fact He got me into a much better equipped one than I had had planned. When it came to dealing with the Sales Manager things went down hill. The truck was suppose to have a undercoating, but when I asked to see it they assured me it was done. I then asked to have it put on the rack so we could see it. When it went up on the rack there was rust on the rear axle from where vehicle had been tied down during delivery. The S.M. stated that that was the fault of Dodge factory and was not part of the undercoating process. There was two areas where a coating of Black Paint had been sprayed. I asked one of the Techs that worked there if He thought the truck had been undercoated. His reply was it had a undercoating, but it was a sloppy job. The S.M. being present during this time stated that this was the undercoating they provided but they would not recoat it or cover the rust spots unless I PAID to reundercoat the truck. Since I had already given them a check and closed the deal I felt I had been had.

Pros: For being a small town dealership they had a large selection of vehicles.

Cons: The attitude of the Sales Manager, after the deal was completed, was He didn't give a damn.
