First visit, we had to go through a ridiculous fiasco of driving around through three lots to find the cars we were interested in, then back to the dealer to get a gear knob, then back to the car to discover it wasn't gassed, then to get gas, before finally taking a test drive. We went back due to a sale ad, and though getting to test drive a different car went more smoothly, we got jerked around (only in the typical salesman sense I think) on pricing for several hours. It wasn't until we insisted on taking a lunch break they got desperate enough to drop the price first to what I thought was reasonable, then finally to far below what I ever thought I'd have to pay for the car. I think the key is not letting them push you into anything, or believing them when they say they can't possibly go lower than invoice price.
Pros: Lots of inventory, they had plenty of different trims, colors and option packages to choose from. Their apparent desperation not to let us leave without purchasing worked in our favor, so I'd call that a good quality as well.
Cons: The layout--they had their cars in three different lots spaced out quite a bit, so navigating and searching for your ideal car could be quite a hassle. They were a bit pushier than most other dealers I visited while shopping around--this didn't especially bother me or affect my decisions but it's worth noting.

Great place to buy a car. I worked directly with the manager. There was no pressure at all. It seemed like they really went out of their way to make the sale. I have been looking for about two months now and I feel very comfortable that I got a good deal!
Pros: Quick turn around, I was in and out of there in less than two hours. I for one HATE buying a new car and try by all means to avoid car dealerships. I generally go to CarMax where the price on the car is the only price, meaning no back and forth haggling over options and price. Fitzgerald changed my opinion in a few short hours. I would definitely buy there again.
Cons: Not convenient to my house. But they beat the price of the dealer near my house and gave me a maintenance card for life.

I found this dealership to be very comfortable to buy a car from. I bought my other Mazda in 2002 there and I did not feel like I was being lied to or batted like I had in other dealerships. I was very happy with my trade in and I love my new Mazda, I would recommend O'hara Mazda to anyone who wants a good car at a great price.
Pros: No flim flam just straight honest answers and I felt that I was dealing with someone who was looking out for my best interest.
Cons: I had never gotten a loan at the dealship before and although completely honest and above board I found dealing with the loan officer frustrating and confusing.

Good but up to the last minute. The salesperson slipped a fast one where we agreed on 20,000.00, but ended at 20,067. We shook hands and being at the end of the day/night, tired of all day dealing, I just signed for it.
Pros: They were easy going and non-pushy if you will
Cons: The salesperson did me wrong at the end where it would have been a perfect experience. We were 99% done and happy but the last 1 minute experience ruined everything!

Had a "pre-negotiated" internet price that "could not be haggled" but the dealer still matched a quote I received from another dealership.
Pros: Dealers are not paid on commission basis. This makes them want to help you rather than rip you off.

Pros: Best price at the time. Good color selection and accommodated my color preference.
Cons: Quoted a lower price, but changed term when I arrived. Did not mention rebate was factored into the "quote" until car was picked out; paid higher taxes as a result. Did not provide an itemized breakdown, so I cannot be sure of whether there was any "play" in tax/title fees.

Overall, I had a very positive experience. Everything was straightforward -- I never felt like I was getting anything but a straight answer.
Pros: Low pressure. Answers were available when I had questions and the salesman was happy to show me the car, but he was equally willing to stand by quietly while I took things in. In short, he let me reach my own decisions rather than trying to make me accept his (not something I can say of other dealerships I visited). The finance agent was very helpful and patient. I never felt rushed and she answered all my questions to my satisfaction.
Cons: Slightly less pleasant waiting area in the service center than some I've seen (it's just older, it's reasonably clean and the people are very friendly). No regular maintenance covered during warranty period like some other dealers offer.

Salesperson Chelsea was nice, but sales manager Chris was pushy and sometimes rude. Chris tried to slip in $327.00 to the price during financing even after we had agreed on a set price. Finance kept pushing extended warranty even after I said no. The finance manager claimed that the Mazda 3 was redesign for 2010 and was almost certain to have problems. In the end, I got the agreed upon price, but I didn't appreciate the hassle or runaround. The windows of all their new cars were etched and it was not a option I desired. They claimed it was for insurance. The charge for etching was $198.00, but it most likely only cost the dealership $15.00.
Pros: Salesperson Chelsea was knowledgeable in the features on the cars. Close to work and home. Clean and sharp looking dealership.
Cons: Sales Manager Chris was deceitful. Finance department kept pushing extended warranty plan even after saying no repeatedly. Car was not detailed properly after purchase as promised. Had to bring it back to and it still did not get thoroughly detailed. The windows of all their new cars were etched.

Decent in agreeing on price at dealer. Negotiating took about a half hour. I offered 16,000, they moved me up to 16,700. It took an hour at the "mother dealership" (the VW dealer next door) while the finance guy ( a nice guy, I felt sorry for him) tried to push all the add ons. The finance part was a pain, or at least a waste of time.
Pros: Reasonable, not too sleazy, acted quickly at the Mazda dealer.
Cons: The finance process as described. Most of the "aelling" goes on there.

The salesmen was extremely knowledgeable and nice. He was never pushy which is rare to find in this industry. We got I think a fair price for the price and they were willing to negotiate the price with us to get our business.
Pros: The salesperson who helped us decide what the best car was for our needs.
Cons: The finance department was the worst part of dealing with this dealership. They were rude and not willing to change things when things were not to our liking. Next time we will definitely finance with our bank and not through the dealership. Although they did have a very good deal going on when we financed our car - 3.9% for 60 months.

Manager provided the wrong price, went over to purchase, and at the final step (signing), manager says "wait a minute, I must've given you the price for the mazda 3 2.0 sedan". I mentioned the bait and switch law and got the car for that price.
