Best Car Deals for July 2009

Icing on the cake is the recently passed "cash for clunkers" bill which gives car buyers vouchers of up to $4,500 if they trade up to a more fuel-efficient vehicle. The program is scheduled to start July 23, 2009 and go thru November 1, 2009.
The best deals in July 2009 are going to be with Chrysler and GM, which are both coming out of bankruptcy and eliminating hundreds of dealerships. Car buyers are reluctant to purchase from bankrupt companies which helps drive the prices down and forces dealers to negotiate more.
