Now is a Good Time to be a Truck Buyer

In the past, GM has usually held an annual truck sale in September.

This year, they didn't want it to interfere with their "May the Best Car Win" campaign, so they delayed the sale until now.

The truck sale is good through November 2, 2009 with GM offering an extra $1,000 cash rebate on several 2010 GMC pickups, SUVs and crossovers. There is a $500 extra cash rebate on the 2009 and 2010 GMC Canyon pickup.

Chevrolet is offering $1,000 cash back on the Traverse crossover, Tahoe, Suburban, Avalanche and Silverado pickups. In addition, there is 0% financing for up to 60 months on the 2009 Silverado and Colorado pickups.

Ford's Truck Sale began September 10th and runs through October 5th. They're offering rebates as high as $4,500 on the F-150 pickup and $5,000 on the F-series Super Duty trucks.
