Nissan Set to Launch Eight New Models
Nissan fans: time to rejoice. Over the next year, Nissan will launch eight new or updated models, ranging from a new, smaller SUV to several revamps including the Infiniti line.
The company is releasing the Juke, a compact crossover based on the Versa platform, in September, to expand its SUV offerings based on the success of its Rogue model. It will be joined by a 40th Anniversary Z sports coupe, the Nissan Leaf electrical vehicle in December, and a newly remodeled Quest minivan by January 2011.
Infiniti will also see a host of updated models. The M Sedan will launch in redesigned form this Spring as will the QX56 SUV, based on the Nissan Patrol available outside of the United States, and conceivably a replacement for the full size Nissan Armada.
Business owners may be interested in the NV2500, a new panel truck-like creation that is based on the automaker's Frontier truck. The concept version shown at the Detroit Auto Show added a panel van like attachment, with several compartments available for customization. It's set for sale in November.
