January is usually a slow month for car sales, but dealers are hoping for a Happy New Year, and that means doing all they can right now to entice consumers to purchase a new vehicle.
A number of car manufacturers such as General Motors, Chrysler and Ford, are offering a number of big-dollar rebates on new cars in January.
For example, the 2012 Nissan Armada is currently offering a whopping $6,000 rebate, while the 2012 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 and 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Hybrid are both offering $5,000 rebates.
