However, that's not to say that's a bad thing. Nowadays, many so-called "base models" still include lots of great features.
Cars.com recently revealed their top 10 picks for what they consider the best 2013 base models currently available. On the list are cars such as the Volvo S60 T5, which even at the base price includes features like rain-sensing windshield wipers and satellite radio. The base model Toyota Avalon XLE includes features like dual-zone climate control and heated front seats. And even the base model Honda Civic LX includes a rearview camera, Bluetooth, and USB.
