Affordable Cars with Lots of Tech
October 8, 2015
Nowadays technology pretty much rules our lives. Between the phones in our pockets, computers on our desks, and tablets we play with at night, we're constantly surrounded by technology.
For this reason, it's not a surprise that car buyers are looking at how much technology their vehicles include. Major tech perks used to be found only in more expensive luxury vehicles, but that's no longer the case -- many of today's more affordable vehicles have lots of tech options, such as voice-controlled navigation, smartphone integration, LCD screens, and blind spot cameras.
BankRate recently released a list of six tech-heavy vehicles that can all be purchased for $25,000 or less. Cars on the list include the Nissan Versa Note, Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, and Subaru Impreza
If you're considering any of these technology-driven vehicles, I recommend using TrueCar No Haggle, RydeShopper and CarsDirect to see the lowest prices in your local area.
Vehicle | Price w/ Technology & Other Upgrades |
---|---|
Nissan Versa Note | About $19,000 |
Honda Fit | About $21,000 |
Toyota Corolla | About $21,500 |
Honda Civic | About $23,000 |
Kia Forte | About $24,500 |
Subaru Impreza | About $25,000 |
My Recommendation for Car Shoppers
TrueCar, RydeShopper, and CarsDirect are the best way to see the lowest car prices in your area. These sites show you no-haggle prices from dealers closest to you - and the deals are usually really good. This should be the first step you take when negotiating your car price. Follow this up with my checklist to make sure you squeeze out every last bit of savings.- Gregg Fidan
