Pros: Worked out OTD price via email and once I showed up to the dealer, price did not change one bit. Salesperson was very helpful and knowledgable about car and features. Process was very quick and efficient.
Cons: Finance manager really pushing the extended warranties, lojack and protection packages.

Pros: Initial offer was good to begin with. Good inventory.

Great experience! I had just come over from lousy experience at nearby Toyota dealership. I had a quote from another Acura dealer I was happy with but sticking point was how much trade-in value I could get for my car. Told salesman how much I wanted to pay for MDX with tech ($35,500) and if he could give me KBB for my car, I would take it. They didn't have any 08 Techs left on lot but located one 50 miles away, told me it came with the ProPack that couldn't be taken off but would be sold at cost to me (well, his cost - $350). Price of the actual car minus the pack came within $100 of what I wanted to pay and after some haggling with the GM, got KBB value for my Volvo (I had spent month and half trying to unload that car!).
Pros: I loved the up front, honest nature of the sales guy and the GM. They know as consumers we want to save but they also need to make a profit to stay in business. I think they did a great job of negotiating that middle ground where we both ended up with virtually everything we wanted. Plus you can't beat the service, they had to get the MDX the next day and didn't want me driving home with my old car so they gave me a loaner car for the night. I thought it was going to be a beat up car but I got a new 2009 TL!
Cons: Well, nothing bad specifically about this dealer. Just don't like going through the whole negotiation route. I don't like how if a car came with accessories, they can't be taken off.

Cons: Went back to look at an RDX for son and dealt with "manager' who personified every shifty stereotype for a car salesmen. So I guess its not the dealer but who you end up working with--not a good business model.

The internet negotiation was quick and painless. They were very straightforward and seemed pretty honest. There were no surprises with regards to vehicle cost after I drove 100 miles to finalize the deal. The salesperson (Charles Douglas) was very knowledgable and spent probably 1.5 hours with me after I bought the car showing me how to take full advantage of the technology in the car. The ONLY negative I have listed below under 'Cons'
Pros: No surprises, gave me a good price with basically no negotiation (and I got quotes from at least 8 dealerships via email). Fast response.
Cons: The vehicle was 'new' and only had 30 miles on it, but there were scuff marks on the plastic door guards next to the rear passenger and driver doors. Also there were tons of scuff marks on the cupholder in the central console and various other little things that made it feel like the car had been 'used.' The dealership seems very responsive however and has offered to detail the interior of the car and perhaps replace the cupholder after faxing me a 'we owe you' form, etc, so I am still happy with the purchase & experience so far.

I shopped in different states and visited websites with actual prices paid for cars. With this information I went back to my local dealer to see if I could get similar deal. They did so price negotiations were brief. I asked dealers to give me full price including ALL fees. This makes comparing easier and you know what to expect to pay. Only tax, title and license to be added.
Pros: Willing to create price via email. Little pressure. Took time for test drive.
Cons: Additional warranties and protection plans were discussed at very last minute with finance department in separate office. I would have preferred to do this with the sales person.
