Pros: Great internet sales department and a GREAT salesman. I can't say enough about how well my salesman treated me. The transaction went so quickly after we hammered out all the final details. The fastest car-buying experience I've ever had!

Cons: I went to the dealership with the intention of buying but wanted to make sure I was getting the absolute best price I could get. During the process, I did receive a little bit of bs from one of the managers or financial gurus about how these cars had been flying off the lot (when he was trying very strongly to get me to commit to buy)...Please! I could've done without that. The salesman had already told me how many of these they had sold and it wasn't many...

I went thru the nissanusa.com site and built one that I wanted and then it had me enter the zip code. This lead me to some local dealers, one of which is Nissan of Rivergate. I found a car close to what I wanted and then I clicked on the request quote. Tip, I specifically said to give me a quote on the VIN number that was listed so as to avoid any confusion. Some of the other dealers didn't have an email contact. They wanted you to call their Internet office, this seemed like a way to try to twist your arm so I didn't bother with them.

Pros: This dealer has an Internet office that is designed to deal by email. I received a very quick reply to all inquires. All questions were answered honestly w/o any BS. When I finally went in to sign the papers, I was leary of hidden fees or gotchas but there were not any! They didn't even try to twist my arm to buy an extended warranty, which I didn't buy. The final price was exactly the same as promised in the email. I've dealt with car salesmen before and it's hard to say something nice about a lot of them, but this was a truly painless process. NOTE: This dealer does not charge a Doc fee.

Cons: The service department is behind the eight ball in terms of of being up to speed on the differences between this model and the previous model. For example, I stopped by to get a quote on getting a tow hitch installed and the two people that I talked to didn't know that the new model was redesigned and took a different wiring harness and it did not require the bumper to be cut in order to install the hitch.
