Manchester, NH E-mailed dealer and worked out final price via e-mail. Not as much discount as I had hoped, but it was definitely the best price in the region.
Arranged an appointment to pick up the car. They washed it, I test drove, ran through a checklist for items to inspect, signed papers, and took possession of car.

York, PA Straightforward deal. Dealer offered a good price; I had a better price in hand from a dealer the next town over and gave local dealer a chance to do better, and he did.

Columbus, OH I did most of my work online. I found the car at dealerships in other states that had the lowest price and used that as my starting point.
I had a decent experience at the dealership. They did try to slip in a service package and some accessories that I wasn't interested in, but otherwise it was a pretty square deal.
