June 3, 2010

Ford Fiesta"Cool" and "Under $18,000" in the same sentence? It's true. And Kelly Blue Book has the list to prove it.

The 2011 Ford Fiesta took top honors thanks to its 28 mpg city, 40 mpg highway EPA rating and impressive standard features list. Next in line, the adorable 2010 Honda Fit. With manual transmission, the little Honda does 28 mpg city and up to 35 mpg highway.

The new 2010 Hyundai Elantra Touring joined the list, managing 23 city and 30 mpg highway with its 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.

The base Mitsubishi Lancer also made the cut - another 2.0-liter nabbing 22 mpg city and 31 mpg highway, while Suzuki's SX4 got noticed with its 23 mpg city and 33 mpg highway.

California Residents - Important:

There is a new online car buying service called Roadster, available only to California residents, which I highly recommend you try - especially if you hate the stress of haggling with a car salesman. They provide an expert concierge who negotiates the price of the car and delivers it to your home with zero hassle - you never have to interact with a dealership.
