Best Electric, Hybrid Lease Deals

January 9, 2020

This week, I compiled all advertised lease deals from manufacturer web sites to find out which electric vehicles, hybrids, and plug-in hybrids offer the best "bang for your buck" deals.

I calculated each lease deal with zero down payment so you can compare apples to apples. Note that payments don't include tax, title, and other fees and the deals may only be available in certain regions.

The "Bang for your Buck" column is calculated by dividing MSRP by monthly payment. Deals with "bang for bucks above" 100 are excellent and those below are ranked from great to terrible. Keep in mind, you may be able to negotiate even better deals - these are just the advertised terms, some brands such as Ford don't include any dealer discounts in the advertised lease deals, which means you could likely end up with lower monthly payments.

Of note this month, Hyundai is still offering incredible deals on the 2019 Ioniq Electric (East coast only), but they're hard to find on dealer lots. I confirmed this deal is real, but you need to call a bunch of dealers to find ones in stock.

As always, I recommend you use TrueCar No Haggle and RydeShopper to quickly see the lowest lease prices you can get on any of these vehicles in your local area.
