Current Lease Deals For Less Than $200/month

August 5, 2010

Lease deals for less than $200 With "Car-mageddon" altering the car-buying landscape, a number of exceptional lease deals are currently available - many less than $200/month (and some as low as $149/month).

In some cases, a lease will require a large down payment to make the monthly payments look more affordable.

So when deciding which lease to take, look at total costs over the period of the lease.

The following cars all have lease payments under $200.

The deals on some of them end soon, so if you're interested, it's time to get moving:

Nissan Cube $179 a month for 39 months

Honda Accord $199 a month for 36 months

Honda Fit $149 a month for 36 months

Honda Civic $169 a month for 36 months

Honda Insight $179 a month for 36 months

Subaru Impreza $199 a month for 36 months

Subaru Legacy $199 a month for 36 months

VW Jetta $199 a month for 36 months

VW Golf $199 a month for 36 months

VW Golf $199 a month for 36 months

My Recommendation for Car Shoppers

TrueCar No-Haggle, Edmunds Price Promise, and 1-800 Car Show are the quickest way to see the lowest car prices in your area. These sites show you no-haggle prices from dealers closest to you - and the deals are usually really good. This should be the first step you take when negotiating your car price. Follow this up with my checklist to make sure you squeeze out every last bit of savings.

California Residents - Important:

There is a new online car buying service called Roadster, available only to California residents, which I highly recommend you try - especially if you hate the stress of haggling with a car salesman. They provide an expert concierge who negotiates the price of the car and delivers it to your home with zero hassle - you never have to interact with a dealership. Here is my in-depth review of Roadster and why I recommend it.
