The Best Compact SUV You Can Buy

This week, one of my favorite publications - The Wirecutter, did an in-depth review of compact SUVs. In addition to test-driving 15 contenders, they poured over all the specs and consulted with auto experts to determine the winner - the 2016 Mazda CX-5 Touring.
I highly suggest you check out the full review (it's very long, but totally worth it if you're considering purchasing a compact SUV).
In summary, they found the Mazda CX-5 Touring to be fun-to-drive, packed with premium features, low ownership costs, and best of all - it was the second least expensive SUV in the bunch.
The 2015 Honda CR-V EX was also ranked highly, while the 2016 Subaru Forester 2.5i Premium with EyeSight was ranked the safest with it's full suite of advanced safety features.
