Cars With the Best Resale Value
May 23, 2013
The harsh reality is once you drive that shiny new car off the dealer lot, it's resale value automatically starts declining, and the truth is - some cars hold their value much better than others due to popularity, maintenance, miles per gallon, and other factors.
BankRate.com recently came out with a list of what they consider to be the cars with the best resale value. On the list - Honda Fit, Lexus GS 350, and Toyota FJ Cruiser. These cars are predicted to retain the highest percentage of manufacturer's suggested retail price after three years.
And no matter what new car you plan to purchase, make sure to use the free RydeShopper to maximize your overall savings.
|Category||Best Resale Vehicle||MSRP||MPG City||MPG Highway|
|SUV||Toyota JF Cruiser||$27,030||16||20|
|Luxury||Lexus GS 350||$47,250||19||28|
My Recommendation for Car ShoppersTrueCar No-Haggle, CarsDirect, and Ryde Shopper are the quickest way to see the lowest car prices in your area. These sites show you no-haggle prices from dealers closest to you - and the deals are usually really good. This should be the first step you take when negotiating your car price. Follow this up with my checklist to make sure you squeeze out every last bit of savings.
