Cars With the Best Engines
December 19, 2013Many car shoppers end up purchasing a vehicle without really thinking about the engine variations. The engine is the heart of a vehicle, and will affect everything from acceleration, smoothness of ride, and most importantly - your gas mileage.
Forbes understands the importance of a vehicle's engine, and recently released a list of what they consider the top 10 best new car engines for 2014. The list includes engines that Forbes says offer some of the latest technologies for performance and fuel efficiency.
Vehicles on the list include the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel, which sports a 3.0L turbodiesel DOHC V-6, the Fiat 500e and its 83-kW electric motor, and the Chevy Corvette Stingray and its 6.2L OHV V-8.
If you're considering one of these vehicles, make sure to use the free RydeShopper to get the best deal possible. And be sure to check out TrueCar Pre-Negotiated Prices to compare real prices where you live.
