New Cars That Are Cheap to Own

Hyundai and Acura offer some of the best vehicles with the lowest cost of ownership, according to Kelley Blue Book's (KBB) 2016 5-Year Cost to Own Awards.

These annual awards recognize new vehicles with the lowest projected ownership costs during the initial five-year ownership period, including depreciation, expected fuel costs, finance and insurance fees, maintenance and repair costs, and state fees.

Hyundai was named the Brand award winner, while Acura took the crown for Luxury Brand. As for individual vehicles, winners were named in 22 categories including cars, SUVs, trucks and hybrid vehicles. Winners include the Nissan Versa, Chevrolet Spark EV, Ford F-150 Regular Cab, and Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. See below for the full list of winners.
