Safest Cars You Can Buy Right Now
When it comes time to purchase a new car, not only do you want a good deal but you also want to make sure it's safe. And although auto safety has come a long way over the years, there are some cars that will protect you better than others.
Forbes recently released their list of what they consider the top 13 safest cars for 2014. They selected these vehicles based on input from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), which conduct their own crash test ratings and certify vehicles based on how well they do.
On list are the likes of Chevrolet Impala, Mercedez-Benz M-Class, Subaru Forester, Volvo XC60, and BMW 5 Series.
If you're considering any of these top safety picks, I recommend you use TrueCar and Edmunds Price Promise to get the best deal possible.
