Greenest Cars You Can Buy Right Now
June 6, 2014
Everybody's doing what they can to treat our planet better these days, so it's no surprise that the market for eco-friendly vehicles is growing. Plus having a more environmentally-friendly vehicle means less money you have to pay at the pump -- if you even have to pump gas at all!
AAA recently came out with a list of what they consider the "greenest" cars you can buy in 2014. Of the 83 vehicles on the Green Car List, the top 10 were dominated by both clean diesel and electric vehicles, with the 2013 Tesla S P85 being named #1. Other vehicles on the top 10 list included the 2014 Audi A7 TDI Quattro, 2012 Toyota RAV4 EV, and 2013 Nissan Leaf.
If you're considering any of these vehicles, make sure to use both TrueCar No Haggle and CarsDirect for the biggest savings.

3 Steps Every Car Buyer Needs to Take to Save Maximum Money
The key to getting the best deal is to gather price or lease bids from as many local dealers as possible. Then shop that best price around until no one can beat it. Here are the steps:Step 1 Get Prices From My Trusted Network
Select the vehicle you're interested in to see if there are local dealers in my network who will provide you with their best upfront price. TrueCar, and CarsDirect are my top 2 online price quote recommendations. These services show you pre-negotiated prices from dealers closest to you - and the deals are usually pretty decent. But remember, you can still negotiate further.Step 3 Complete my Checklist
