Cars With the Best Initial Quality
The 2017 J.D. Power Initial Quality Study was recently released, and for the second year in a row Kia ranked the highest when it came to initial quality, with Genesis, Porsche and Ford also receiving top marks.
The annual study takes a look at the issues that car owners experience during their first 90 days of ownership. This year's study found that overall quality for the industry averaged 97 problems per 100 vehicles.
The worst brands for initial quality were Fiat, Jaguar, and Volvo. See below for the full rankings and summaries.
