Best Compact SUVs Under $25K

Compact SUVs such as the Ford Escape and Honda CR-V are extremely popular with car shoppers these days. Within the past year, there have been three all-new or redesigned models that have entered the market.
Cars.com recently did a shootout among the main competitors. The rules were that each SUV had to get at least 30 mpg on the highway and be priced below $25,000 (not including destination charge). Note that the Toyota RAV4 did not qualify since it doesn't achieve 30 mpg.
