Best Memorial Day Car Deals

May 25, 2017

The Memorial Day holiday weekend is usually a great time to get a deal on a new car, and this year is especially great since auto sales are down and incentives are way up. Manufacturers and dealers are in a race to outsell the competition, which means there are plenty of lease deals and cash back offers available.

Consumer Reports and Edmunds.com took a look at all the deals available right now and narrowed down the top deals available now through Memorial Day weekend (see below)- with potential savings of more than $10,000 off MSRP. Vehicles on the list include popular models such as the 2017 Hyundai Sonata, Toyota Camry, and Ford Escape.

If you're in the market for a new car, make sure to use TrueCar No Haggle and Edmunds Price Promise to compare the best deals being offered in your local area.

My Recommendation for Car Shoppers

TrueCar, Edmunds, and 1-800 Car Show are the quickest way to see the lowest car prices in your area. These sites show you no-haggle prices from dealers closest to you - and the deals are usually really good. This should be the first step you take when negotiating your car price. Follow this up with my checklist to make sure you squeeze out every last bit of savings.

California Residents - Important:

There is a new online car buying service called Roadster, available only to California residents, which I highly recommend you try - especially if you hate the stress of haggling with a car salesman. They provide an expert concierge who negotiates the price of the car and delivers it to your home with zero hassle - you never have to interact with a dealership. Here is my in-depth review of Roadster and why I recommend it.
