The Best Labor Day 2020 Car Deals
This Monday is Labor Day, which marks the unofficial end of summer. And for those looking to buy a new car, this weekend is historically one of the best times to do so, especially if you buy this year's model (2020 vs 2021). That's because car dealerships are frantically working to move this year's vehicles off their lots and make room for next year's models.
This year is a bit different due to the economic shutdowns, which have resulted in a drop in new car sales along with a similar drop in production. Some models are in high demand and low supply, which means you won't get good deals on those. However, others are suffering from low demand and deals can be close to 30% off MSRP.
Using TrueCar's database of average selling prices, I compiled a list of the top 30 vehicles with the largest discounts off MSRP this week (this includes all incentives, rebates, and hidden dealer incentives).
Take a look at the full list below and see if any models you're interested in are on it. If so, this could be a great time to move ahead with the purchase. And as always, make sure to use TrueCar No Haggle, CarsDirect and RydeShopper to quickly gather the best prices in your area.
