Best Time to Buy a Tesla
If you've seriously considered purchasing a Tesla, right now is probably the best time to do so. The company is trying to end this quarter (September 30th) with a high number of sales (and profit) - to show skeptical investors they can be profitable.
To achieve this, they are discounting vehicles that are still in inventory and have not been sold yet (there are about 200 of them listed on their site). Some buyers are reporting discounts of over $10,000.
It's very possible Tesla will remove these discounts once October rolls around, so now is the time to act. There are two sites that make it easy to browse the current Tesla inventory along with pricing info, Tesla Inventory Search and EV-CPO. I recommend you take a look and see if there's a Tesla in your area offered at deep discount - if so, I don't think you'll find a better opportunity anytime soon.
My Recommendation for Car ShoppersTrueCar, RydeShopper, and CarsDirect are the best way to see the lowest car prices in your area. These sites show you no-haggle prices from dealers closest to you - and the deals are usually really good. This should be the first step you take when negotiating your car price. Follow this up with my checklist to make sure you squeeze out every last bit of savings.
