VWs Now Have 6 Year Warranties
This week, Volkswagen announced 6-year/72,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranties on all of their new vehicles, in an effort to win back customers after their diesel emission scandal.
Volkswagen now offers the best bumper-to-bumper warranty of any brand, beating Hyundai / Kia's 5 year/60K warranties (although Hyundai / Kia does offer 10 year / 100K miles on their powertrain). This is double what most manufacturers offer.
In addition, Volkswagen's warranty is fully transferable if the vehicle is sold.
As always, I recommend using TrueCar No Haggle and CarsDirect to see the lowest prices your local dealers are willing to offer.
