GM Offering Free Car Insurance with Car Purchase

GM and MetLife are joining forces to offer one year's free car insurance to car buyers in Washington and Oregon.
The insurance includes standard liability coverage, coverage for uninsured motorists (basic coverage mandated by Oregon), collision, and comprehensive coverage for car damage.
This program could save buyers thousands of dollars.
The average annual premium in Washington is $1,463 and $1,187 in Oregon.
The promotion is valid on new 2010, 2011 or 2012 Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick or GMC vehicles.
You must be a resident of Oregon or Washington with a valid driver's license. If the program is successful, GM may offer this as a nation-wide incentive.
Promotion ends September 6.
