Cars with the Best Customer Service
April 17, 2014If you're shopping for a new car, and want the very best customer service, look to Buick and Cadillac, according to a recent study conducted by J.D. Power and Associates.
The J.D. Power 2014 US Customer Service Index (CSI) Study looked at customer satisfaction for maintenance or repair work for one to five-year-old cars that are either owned or leased. The study found that more vehicle manufacturers are offering owners complimentary or prepaid maintenance packages for their new car or truck, which in turn helps develop brand loyalty and helps keep owners with their vehicle for longer.
For mass market brands, Buick was crowned number one in terms of customer satisfaction with a score of 835 out of 1,000. The top five are rounded out by Volkswagen, GMC and Mini (tied for third) and Chevrolet.
And for the luxury market, Cadillac came out on top with 872 points, followed by Audi, Lexus, Infiniti and Lincoln (tied for fourth).
