Most Eco-Friendly Cars of 2015
April 2, 2015Between gas prices that continue to rise and consumers being more interested in doing their part to keep our planet healthy, it's no wonder that car buyers are looking for more environmentally-friendly vehicles.
To help car buyers make vehicle choices that are better for the environment, the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE) recently released their 18th annual environmental ratings of vehicles. The list includes the "Greenest" vehicles, as well as the "Meanest" vehicles -- those that they found to be the least friendly to the environment.
Topping the "Greenest" list are the Mercedes-Benz Smart Fortwo Electric Drive, followed by the Chevrolet Spark EV and Fiat 500e. And at the top of the "Meanest" list are the Ram 2500, Chevrolet G2500 Express, and GMC Savana. Below is a look at both lists.
If you're contemplating a “greener” vehicle, I recommend using TrueCar No Haggle and RydeShopper to see the best prices being offered in your local area.
